CampFinder ("we", "us", "the site") is a free, static, client-side website. We designed it to collect as little information as possible. This page explains exactly what we store, what Google and our advertising partners may process, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect and store
We do not require an account, do not ask for your name, email, phone number or home address, and do not run any server-side database about you. The site runs entirely in your browser.
The only things we store are in your own browser's localStorage and never leave your device:
cp_lang— your language preference (English or 中文), so the site opens in the language you last used.cp_favs— the list of tools and guides you tapped the star on (favorites). This is saved only on this device.cp_cookie_ok— a one-flag remembering that you dismissed our cookie notice.
You can clear any or all of these at any time from your browser settings; clearing them simply resets your preferences and favorites.
2. Cookies and local storage we use
We use only strictly necessary local storage (listed above). We do not set our own tracking cookies, fingerprinting pixels, or analytics that identify you. We do not sell or rent your personal data — we have no personal data to sell.
3. Google AdSense and third-party advertising
We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info (or youradchoices.ca in Canada).
- Because ad choices depend on your browser and device, and may reset when you clear cookies, we show a cookie banner the first time you visit. Accepting it simply dismisses the banner; you can still opt out via the links above.

4. External links
Our tools and guides link out to official agency sites such as recreation.gov, the National Park Service (nps.gov), the Bureau of Land Management (blm.gov) and other public-land pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices.
5. Your rights and choices
Because your data stays on your device, you are always in control: switch language with the top-right button, manage favorites from the My Favorites page, and clear site data from your browser. If you live in the EU/EEA, UK, California or another region with data-protection rights, you may request information, deletion or restriction of any data we hold — but since we hold no server-side personal data, the practical way to exercise these rights is to clear your browser storage or contact us (below).
6. Children's privacy
The site is a general travel-planning resource and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the site or advertising requirements change. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the revision. Material changes will be announced on this page.

CampFinder（营地通）是一个免费的纯静态、纯前端网站。我们的设计原则是尽可能少地收集信息。本页准确说明我们存储了什么、Google 与广告合作方可能处理什么，以及你拥有的选择。
1. 我们收集和存储的信息
我们不要求注册账号，不询问你的姓名、邮箱、电话或住址，也没有任何关于你的服务端数据库。整个站点完全在你的浏览器中运行。
